Sometimes I fear the only thing holding me down is gravity
And maybe I'm not as important as I think I used to be
I've realized that people won't wait for you once you turn away
And by the time you come back it could be too late

I can say falling in love is the greatest thing now
But after the the joy is the falling out
I'm stuck between loneliness and telling the truth

But with every day I fear my purpose slowly slips away

I'm getting tired of the battles in my head
The comfort of dependency and crying in my bed
Is this the way that I want to be living my life?
Is it written in stone, can I dig my way out to make things alright?
